| The Hayden United Ministries Mission
Statement
The congregations of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and
Faith Presbyterian Church, in consideration of joint ownership of a
church home, issue these mission goals:
 | to proclaim by example the unity of those called by
grace to faith in Jesus Christ
|
| to encourage one another in the particular mission
of each congregation, to reach out and care for all people by
sharing Christ's love, and to be called together to grow in our
faith through worship and study of God's true Word
|
| to work together, cooperating in combined programs
as opportunities permit
|
| to be faithful stewards of our resources, allowing
more time, money, and energy to be directed to the growth of our
members and the needs of our neighbors -- spiritually, emotionally,
and physically
|
| to use the relationships established between the
members of both churches as opportunities for sharing our particular
traditions
|
| to be ecumenical witnesses to our respective
denominations as to the blessings of joint projects such as this. |
